Merry Christmas

I've been absent during the Christmas/New Years holiday. My parents moved into town, and my sister in-laws, and friends from out of state came to visit. We had a WONDERFUL Christmas, but unfortunately I didn't document it. Here are the only 2 pictures I have to show for Christmas. Oops! But hopefully you'll forgive me, because I've been documenting other aspects of my life besides the holiday. I've been loving the phrase "keeping it real" recently. So here it is "keeping it real." For a split second I worried people may be bored of reading about my son, but than I had an unkind thought about those people....and decided this is MY blog and I can write whatever I want. This busy boy, who is so cute and loving, is an angel in me and John's life. Take it or leave it! Here it is....Keeping it Real.

Opening gifts with Daddy

Jacob loved his cousin's dolls the best

Now for Keeping it Real:

Helping mom fold Laundry

Elder Teddy had a stinky Bum....it needed

a lot of wipes!

Toilet Paper!

Waiting to play in the snow

This picture was taken after an entire day of trying to find

snow pants and snow boots, getting it all on....than

only to find out after this picture was taken and

Jacob touched his hands to the snow, that he

hated the snow more than the sand, ocean, grass,

dirt, and bark combined. Darn!

Getting his first hair cut

(while teething...hence the red rimmed eyes and

gritting teeth)

Surviving daddy's mohawk hair-do

new post soon....my New Years thoughts.

LOVE those pictures of Jacob exploring! it was SO fun to see him in person, thanks for letting us barge in at the last minute on you guys. I had such a good time, I love talking to you-you've always got good ideas on everything! Wish we lived closer because that car ride home KILLED my back :)

Loved the post. I used to get annoyed when Wyatt was at that age and into EVERYTHING. Now, looking back, I realize how funny it was. Hopefully I can be more patient with Waylon.

I get frustrated a little bit every day, some days less than others....but I keep reminding myself....this is what I waited for all my life, and I trully love it. Who cares about House work!?! My kid is way cooler than house work any day :)

HAHA! I think every one of those situations has happened in my household this week too. Thanks for letting me feel like I'm not alone in this great motherhood adventure (that somedays feels more like a safari in deep unexplored jungles)...
