We are so excited Christa is here. Everything went great with our labor and delivery, and although Christa's face is a little beat up from being born face up, she is perfect and doing great.
Jacob came to visit, as well as all 4 grandparents and Aunt Beebon, last night. He loved her instantly! He wanted to hold her, hug her, kiss her, give her a binky, and comfort her when she cried. He also wanted her to "drink" but I told him we'd have to wait, since we had too many visitors. He is so fun. John was smitten the second he laid eyes on her!
I feel great, tired and sore of course, but this was so much easier and pleasant than my first delivery. Don't get me wrong.....it was still harder work than I'd choose on a daily basis ;) More on the story tomorrow.

Hooray!!! So happy for you. The second L&D is always better, I think. John is totally in for it with his little girl, but you will love seeing Mr. Softie Dad make his regular appearances. Can't wait to hear and see more! Love to whipped Daddy, tired and happy Mommy and Great Big Brother, Jacob!

WOOO HOOOO! She is here! and is so precious! 7 lbs. is so light when I'm used to carrying Jada around! I'm so proud of you for waiting for me to be in town for the fun to start! :-D I'm not sure who is more excited about her arrival, you, Jacob or me! It is such a special time and I'm so happy to be a part of it all! Way to go, Momma!
Oh Sara she is beautiful!!!! So beautiful. I cannot wait to see more and more pictures of her these next few days as she starts to look a little more like herself.
