We have cold, all of us. Yesterday we all hung out on the couch and watched the Disney movie Cars for the first time. I actually really enjoyed it. Jacob watched it for a few minutes on and off...but I know he didn't really get much out of it. He mostly enjoyed looking at the DVD case with pictures of cars.
Jacob is WILD about cars. I was so worried that he didn't like to read books, but I soon discovered he loved to read books if they were about his favorite subject......cars! Now he is even wanting to read books about other things, but it all started with cars.
Yesterday, as I was going through the paper, Jacob wanted to be involved. So I pulled the car ads out for him. He was in HEAVEN.
This morning, after waking up way to early from coughing, Jacob cried and cried, asking for his "BABA." So weird, he hasn't had a bottle in SOOOO LONG, and has never asked for one either. So silly me, I still have them in the cupboard with the sippy cups. Of course this morning, not feeling well, Jacob regressed and wouldn't be comforted until he had a "baba." Of course, I wouldn't deprive my sick child of anything...so he got it! When he wakes up from his nap, he'll find there are no more bottles to be found.

Side Note: As you can tell, we've been having a lot of "pajama" days lately!

He is such a sweetie...it would be hard to resist any of his demands--esp if he's not feeling well!
And, around here, pj days are common too...the Boofus would stay in his pjs most everyday if he didn't have to go to school, etc.
Hope u guys are all feeling better soon!
Yeah, a little paper boy in the making!! I live for jammie days, and especially when we're all sick. I'm glad you guys got to enjoy Cars, because it's a great movie, esp. for the avid car lover (we have a 2-year old car/train/transportation fanatic in our house too!)
