I voted

The Ballots are all in, polls are closed. We know the outcomes of the political races. But I'm still on my voting high. I don't feel like my vote counts in many ways, but I do know it counts to honor the men and women who gave me my vote, many times with their own lives.

I'm so thankful for the people who gave me the right to vote as a citizen, then as a minority, and as a woman. I think of all those before me without the right to vote and be involved in an electoral process. I think about those living in the world today who do not have that right. I was so happy to vote today, and that is why!

Man, I wish we could have voted, we still have UT licenses and couldn't register, and were too late to do an absentee ballot, but I love your thoughts, it is a great freedom we have, way to go!
