A Prophet’s Warning

I was happy to read President Henry B. Eyring's talk in this month's ensign. One part in particular highlighted a learning moment for me.

"When the words of prophets seem repetitive, that should rivet our attention"

While I was attending BYU Women's Conference President Monson came to speak. His talk was almost the same as the article from April 2008 Ensign and from the Priesthood session of April General Conference. My first reaction was disappointment.
I thought, "I've already heard this. Too bad."
But then, thankfully, the words of the Holy Ghost whispered to me, "No Sara, this must be THAT important. You need to listen very carefully."

John and I still often talk about President Monson's article in the April Ensign. This last year has given us a couple major reasons to learn from lesson's past, find joy in our present life, and prepare for our family's future.

Please read President Henry B. Eyring article this month. I'm thankful for a Prophets Voice in my life, and I can only pray I'll continue to listen carefully.
